Manila Golf

Manila, the capital of the Philippines, this metropolis has fascinating sights for golf enthusiast. Two of the popular golf courses in Manila are: The Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong was founded by William J. Bill Shaw in 1930, an American member of Manila Golf Club who opened a golf club to all races in protest against the discrimination among Filipinos in Manila Golf Club. It is known for its two fine 18-holes, one on the East course and the other one on the West course. The Club Intramuros in Manila has a 4,326 yards, 18-hole and par 66, day and night golf course wherein each hole is a challenge either from water hazards or out of bounds.

Around Metro Manila are some other popular golf courses such as Manila Southwoods in Cavite, an 18-hole course with Master course that slightly longer than the Legends but both par 72; Tagaytay Highlands Golf Club also in Cavite offers a challenging par 72, 6,126 yards and 18-hole course with its panoramic view of Taal Volcano; Caliraya Spring Golf and Country Club in Laguna, an 18-hole championship golf course rising about 1000 feet above sea level with rolling terrain and challenging water hazards.
