The feast of Sto Niño is one of the biggest festivals in the country. The highlight of the Sinulog Festival in Cebu and Ati-atihan in Aklan is the street dancing of the different groups dressed as indigenous Atis; The fever of excitement in the Black Nazarene procession during the month of January; The awesome display of Filipino religiosity during Holy Week rituals particularly in San Fernando Pampanga; The month of May is the annual harvest festival, the feast San Isidro Labrador in Quezon wherein the houses are decorated with kippings and vegetables as an offering for the saint; The Santacruzan, a truly unique cultural activity in the country.
